Whomst is this?

My name is Adam H. Condra. I’m the Dean of Agape at Omnia Classical School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where I’ve been a classical educator since 2011. This is my personal Substack where I talk about whatever I please, lately education, but you can expect the occasional bit of media criticism here as well.

Poly-what now?

Polytropism is a reference to my poetic name at the Circe Institute, Polytropic Sage. Polytropic derives from the Greek, meaning “many turns.” It was my mentor’s way of saying I take a long time to consider something before I know what I think about it and how to express it.

How often do you publish?

Polytropism publishes weekly on Fridays at noon, CST. I try to keep all my posts within the 5-10 minute read range. Subscribe to receive them directly for free when they publish. Subscribers also have access to my chat, where I’m happy to take suggestions for future writing and discuss my latest posts.

Where else can we find you?

Follow me on Twitter/X. I’m pretty active there.
